How to delete Google Assistant voice history
With the popularity of Google Assistant on the rise, people perform several actions such as setting up an alarm, checking the weather, latest news updates, control smart home devices and more. However, if you are concerned about privacy, there’s one thing to keep in mind, Google keeps a log of every command and activity it has been given or asked to perform by users along with the replies or responses. Users can even play their voice recordings as well.
According to Google, storing the previous voice data and activities improve the overall service. The good thing is Google allows users to review and delete the Google Assistant history. Wondering how? Here are the steps one needs to follow:
1.Delete voice data from Google history: Using the web browser
-Open ‘myactivity.google.com.’
-Click the option ‘Delete activity by’ from the left side of the screen
-Now, select a time frame or choose the option ‘All time’ to delete all activity
-Choose the option ‘Voice and audio from the drop-down menu
-Now, click the ‘Delete’ button
-Hit the ‘Delete’ button in the pop-up window to confirm
2.Delete voice data from Google history: Using smartphone
-Open Google app
-Tap on the ‘More’ option from the bottom of the app screen
-Then, tap on ‘Search activity’
-Now, it will automatically redirect to the myactivity.google.com webpage
-Here, tap on the three horizontal bars from the top left of the screen
-Choose the option ‘Delete activity by’
-Now, select a time frame or choose the option ‘All time’ to delete all activity
-Choose the option ‘Voice and audio from the drop-down menu
-Now, click the ‘Delete’ button and confirm
